Don't worry. Nearly every brand has formulas containing retinols, but these are the ones with concentrated versions (See our Retinol Page for more products).  The MD Forte Skincare retinol products are in the 'Skin Rejuvenation' line. Other products found throughout the store may simply call it 'Vitamin A' or 'Retinyl Palmitate' in their ingredients list.

Be mindful of the retinol product you choose.


While retinol is an over the counter version of Retin-A, it is still very powerful, especially for skin that has never been in contact with it. So whichever retinol brand you use, it is strongly advised that you start with a lower strength retinol such as 0.5% and work your way up to 1.0% This will minimize the unpleasant side effects that higher strength vitamin A formulas can have on the skin. Such side effects include dryness, peeling, itchiness, sun sensitivity, and flaking skin.
